Pump Rebuild and Install
This was a great job that I thoroughly enjoyed.
In brief, a pump had to be installed to allow the use of recycled water.
My first task was to retrieve a redundant pump from the old effluent plant. The pump was stripped and completely overhauled, new bearings, sleeves, seals etc. The clearances were set and she was good to go.
The motor was then checked and all static tests concluded that it too was in good health.
The pump/motor was sited in the most convenient position and measurements were taken for the stainless steel pipe requirements.

All of the pipe work was successfully completed.
Ball valves were fitted and support brackets were fabricated and fitted where they were required.

An electrical supply was made to the motor and the system was tested without fault on its first run.
